Lancer girl golfers fall to Minster

The Lady Lancers of Lincolnview got back into the swing of things as they hosted the Minster Lady Wildcats at Hickory Sticks Golf Club.

Led by match medalist Marissa Conrad’s 40, the Wildcats pulled out a three-stroke victory over the host Lancers.  Runner-up medalist honors went to the Lancers’ Kaitlyn Brant, who posted a 42.  Next in line for scoring was Lancer teammate Amanda Kocab, who had a score of 44 to place her third.

The 197 score for the Lancers was achieved by the addition of Macey Ashbaugh and Mikenna Klinger, who posted scores of 51 and 60, respectively.

The winning 194 score by Minster included a 47 by Abbey Hansfield, a 49 by Claire Fischer, and a 58 by Amelia Slonkosky.  Taylor Trego contributed a 64.

Lincolnview drops to 10-3 and plays today at Ada.
