Debra Kay Wagner

Debra Kay Wagner, 55, of Van Wert, died Thursday morning, September 13, 2012, at her residence.

She was born April 29, 1957, in Van Wert, the daughter of Lillie (Baker) Hunter, who survives in Van Wert, and the late James Hunter. On December 4, 1999, she married Richard L. Wagner, who survives in Van Wert.

Other survivors include two daughters, Dee (Randy) Grandstaff of Convoy and Leslie Bladen of Van Wert; two stepdaughters, Jenny Maggard and Jessica Jackson, both of Michigan; a brother, Mark Hunter of North Carolina; five sisters, Sherri Hunter of Minnesota, Karen (Craig) Callow of Wren, Lori (Jim) Cartledge of North Carolina, Theresa (Ray) Scalf of Bowling Green and Janice Hunter of Van Wert; and eight grandchildren.

A brother, James Gregory Hunter, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 17, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with the Rev. Jim Burns officiating. Burial will be in Blue Creek Cemetery in Haviland.

Calling hours are from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, September 16, at the funeral home.
