Knights lose v-ball match with LCC

LIMA – It was a rough on for the Lady Knights volleyball team, as they were defeated in straight games by Lima Central Catholic by scores of 16-25, 21-25 and 12-25. Crestview is now 4-3 overall and 1-1 in the Northwest Conference.

The Knights will be back in action on Saturday morning as they travel to Antwerp to compete in a tri-match with Kalida and the Lady Archers.

Leaders in Thursday’s match include:

• Serving – Haley Helm, 12/13 with two aces; Kirstin Hicks, 10/10.
• Hitting – Mekale Clifton, five kills; Hicks and Courtney Trigg, four kills each.
• Setting – Helm, 14 assists.
• Digs – Tianna Rager, 16 digs.

Crestview’s junior varsity volleyball team also fell to the T-Bird JVs in two straight games. The JV Knights are now 1-6 overall and 1-1 in league play.
