Latta to provide military academy info

BOWLING GREEN – The office of U.S. Representative Bob Latta (R-Bowling Green) will host a Military Academy Information Night for the 2013 academic year. The informational meeting will take place from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, September 20, in the Perrysburg High School library, 13385 Roachton Road.

During the meeting, potential candidates will be advised of the congressional nomination process and have the opportunity to meet with representatives from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, U.S. Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs, and U.S. Merchant Marine Academy at King’s Point.

Potential candidates may also obtain an application for a military service academy nomination at the meeting. Original applications are due October 1, 2012. Completed applications will be due October 15, 2012.
