Doris I. Baksa

Doris I. Baksa, 90, of Paulding, died Wednesday, September 19, 2012, at Hickory Creek of Hicksville.

She was born December 18, 1921, in Fort Wayne, Ind., the daughter of the late Myers L. and Ethel (Myers) Saxton. On November 4, 1942, she married Steve Baksa Jr., who preceded her in death on July 26, 1989.

Survivors include two sons, Howard (Barb) Baksa of Briceton and Roger (Susan) Baksa of Hedges; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A daughter, Charlotte Wilson; one brother, Vernon M. Saxton; two sisters, Lois Bullinger and Mabel Bland; and a stepgrandson, Alex Doster, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 25, at Paulding United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Hedges Cemetery in rural Paulding County.

Calling hours are from 4-8 p.m. Monday, September 24, at Den Herder Funeral Home in Paulding and an hour prior to services Tuesday at the church.
