Man dies in pickup-dump truck crash

AUGLAIZE TOWNSHIP, Paulding County — A Paulding man died Wednesday morning when the pickup truck he was driving rear-ended a dump truck on Ohio 111 in Paulding County.
James A. Dysinger, 50, was pronounced dead at the scene from injuries received in the crash by Paulding County Coroner Dr. Joseph Kuhn.
According to troopers from the Van Wert Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Dysinger’s 2003 GMS pickup truck was eastbound on Ohio 111 in Paulding County when he drove into the rear of a 2001 International dump truck operated by Stanley R. Alford Jr., 54, of Antwerp, that was stopped for traffic. The accident occurred in Auglaize Township near Mile Marker 23 on Ohio 111 in northeast Paulding County.
Dysinger was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. Alford, who was wearing a seatbelt, was not injured in the crash. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the accident, troopers said.
The incident remains under investigation.
