United Way Food Drive now underway
United Way information
The United Way of Van Wert County Day of Caring Food Drive is in full swing!

Barrels are set out around town, and the public is asked to help by filling them with non-perishable food items to restock the Salvation Army food pantry. The barrels will be out for donations through Wednesday, September 26.
In addition to the barrels, challenges are taking place among county service clubs, retailers, local government agencies, industries and schools.
The goal of this year’s drive is to collect 25,000 items to restock the Salvation Army food pantry that serves hundreds of families in need every year in Van Wert County.
“Your donations are again needed this year to reach our goal,” said Scott Mull, 2012 United Way Day of Caring co-chair. “As always the United Way of Van Wert County encourages you to ‘Live United’ and thanks you for your support!”
