VWHS sets ‘Volley for the Cure’ event

Van Wert High School volleyball teams will be hosting a “Volley For The Cure” match on Monday, October 8, at 6 p.m. when they host the Antwerp Archers.

The volleyball team members will be taking orders for the “Volley For The Cure” t-shirts until next Wednesday, September 26. To order a T-shirt contact one of the volleyball girls, pick up an order form at the high school office or contact Ellen Jones at 419.203.3907.

The t-shirts cost $6 and are black with pink. All of the proceeds will go to “Volley For The Cure” cancer research (click here for an order form).

That night’s match will also have several events to promote cancer awareness and raise money for the cure. People are invited to wear the “Volley For The Cure” T-shirt or wear pink to show their support that night.
