Knights down Paulding in volleyball

PAULDING – The Lady Knights of Crestview traveled to Paulding Thursday evening and came home with another Northwest Conference victory. Crestview is now 7-4 overall and 3-1 in the NWC.

The Knights will be back in action on Monday evening as the Van Wert Cougars come to Convoy for a non-conference match-up.

The Crestview junior varsity team was defeated by Paulding in two games.

Leading the way for the Knights were:

Serving – Mackenzie Riggenbach, 16/17 with 3 aces; Tianna Rager, 11/11 with 1 ace; Haley Helm, 14/15; Kirstin Hicks, 10/11; and Mekale Clifton 8/8.

Hitting – Hicks, 12 kills; Courtney Trigg, 8 kills; Megan Hartman, 5 kills; and Clifton, 3 kills.

Setting – Helm, 14 assists; and Riggenbach, 11 assists.

Digs – Rager, 23 digs; Helm, 13 digs; and Hicks, 12 digs.

Blocking – Hartman, 4 stuff blocks.
