VWHS teacher under investigation

A Van Wert High School teacher is under investigation for what is believed to be financial improprieties.

Van Wert City Schools Superintendent Ken Amstutz said Thursday that VWHS government teacher Sandy Adams has been placed on administrative leave until further notice pending the results of an investigation being conducted by the Van Wert Police Department.

No other information is currently available, but the investigation is believed to be in connection with the theft of money placed in Adams’ care. However, that has not been confirmed at this time.
