Richard K. Methot

Richard K. Methot, 51, of Van Wert, died at 4:15 a.m. Wednesday, September 26, 2012, at Van Wert County Hospital in Van Wert.

He was born October 2, 1960, in Orange County, Calif., the son of Susie (Bill) Methot Perez and the late Richard T. Methot.

Survivors include his stepfather, Alfred Perez of Van Wert; a companion, Deb Hitchcock of Van Wert; one son, Taylor Methot of Scott; and a brother, Paul V. (Tammy) Methot of Van Wert.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, September 29, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with Pastor Hal Shafer officiating.

Calling hours are from 2-3:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
