Deacon Leonard E. Roth

Deacon Leonard E. Roth, 61, of Paulding, died Tuesday, October 23, 2012, at his residence.

He was born December 28, 1950, in Paulding County, the son of the late Charles and Frances M. (Wyatt) Roth. On August 21, 1971, he married Kathleen Denise Clark, who survives.

Other survivors a son, Adam (Denise) Roth of Bryan; one daughter, Mari (Bruce) Ivan of Paulding; a brother, Lew Roth of Fort Wayne, Ind.; one sister, Georgia Wilson of Antwerp; and six grandchildren.

A brother, Ronald Roth; and two grandsons, also preceded him in death.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 27, at Divine Mercy Catholic Parish in Paulding, with Bishop Leonard Blair and Father Jacob Gordon officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery in Paulding.

Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Friday, October 26, at Den Herder Funeral Home in Paulding, where a vigil service will be held at 8 that evening, and an hour prior to services Saturday at the church.

Preferred memorials: Masses, Diocese of Toledo Priests’ Retirement Fund, National Retirement Fund for the Religious, or Paulding County Hospice.
