Public invited to learn about photography

By Rex Dolby

The Wassenberg Camera Club’s next meeting this Thursday Oct. 25, at 7 p.m. at the Wassenberg Art Center will offer an opportunity for the public to bring their cameras (with manuals) to learn more about how to use their equipment and hear about something called a post process method President Doug Heckler has developed to get more detail into yellow flowers. As always our meeting are free and open to anyone interested in learning more about photography.

An additional advantage for attending this meeting is the chance to view the photographs selected for the Wassenberg’s 35th Annual Photography Exhibit. One will not only see outstanding photographs, but will also gain some great ideas for how to shoot and where to shoot, as well as how to effectively mat and frame the print.

Ya can’t beat the price! Why not come on down?

The Wassenberg Art Center’s hours during exhibits are: Tuesday through Sunday 1–5 p.m. and you may contact the art center at 419.238.6837, by email: info@wassenbergartcenter.org or via our website at: wassenbergartcenter.org.
We are located at 643 South Washington Street in Van Wert.
