Patricia L. Ralston

Patricia L. Ralston, 80, of Van Wert, died at 11:14 a.m. Thursday, October 25, 2012, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne, Ind.

She was born September 11, 1932, in Van Wert, the daughter of the late H. Frank and Rachel E. Taylor. On September 13, 1952, she married Roger D. Ralston, who preceded her in death on January 16, 2012.

Mrs. Ralston was a retired longtime employee of Central Insurance Company.

Survivors include three grandchildren, Matthew Ralston of Kettering, Erin Ralston of Louisville, Ky., and Adam Ralston of Decatur, Ind.; a brother, Ralph (Yvonne) Taylor of Van Wert; one sister-in-law, Jeannette (Arthur) Bauer of Van Wert; one niece, Susan (Keith) Bowersox of Van Wert; and two nephews, David (Cheryl) Taylor and Philip (Christine) Taylor, both of Van Wert.

Two sons, Jeffrey L. and Bradley D. Ralston, also preceded her in death.

Private family graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 27, at Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert, with the Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating.

Calling hours are from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturday at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert.

Preferred memorials: Leukemia, Cancer Society or to a charity of donor’s choice.
