DELPHOS — A Delphos man has been arrested for a series of car break-ins in that city over the past few weeks, according to Police Chief Kyle Fittro.

Deven M. Schoffner, 20, was arrested and charged with two counts of receiving stolen property in Lima Municipal Court as a result of an undercover operation conducted on October 18.
According to the police chief, Schoffner sold several items of stolen property to an undercover police officer while in the 900 block of East Fifth Street in Delphos.
After his arrest, Schoffner was incarcerated in the Putnam County Jail and made an initial appearance in Lima Municipal Court on the charges. A $25,000 bond was set in the case, with 10 percent of that amount to be paid in cash. Schoffner also faces probation violation charges in Putnam County for a felony drug trafficking conviction earlier this year.
Additional charges may be forthcoming against Schoffner and others after the police investigation into the case is completed.
