Jean E. Stuart

Jean E. Stuart of Paulding died Saturday, October 27, 2012, at the Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born January 17, 1927, in Paulding, the daughter of the late John C. and Nettie L. (Ankney) Deisler.

Survivors include two sons, Daniel (Cindy) Stuart of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Thomas (Kelli) Stuart of Leo, Ind.; two daughters, Janet (David) Penn of Naperville, Ill., and Connie (Bob) Wilson of Tulsa, Okla.; a sister, Ethel (Clark) Jewell of Paulding; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

A brother, Larry Deisler; one sister, Janet Flint; her stepfather, Clyde Thompson; and a grandson, Matthew Wilson, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 31, at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Paulding. Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery in Paulding.

Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, October 30, at Den Herder Funeral Home in Paulding, and an hour prior to services Wednesday at the church.

Preferred memorials: St. Paul Lutheran Church or Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center.
