First meeting set for animal board

REYNOLDSBURG — The Ohio Department of Agriculture (ODA) announces the Dangerous and Restricted Animals Advisory Board will meet for the first time on Wednesday, October 31, at 9 a.m. at the Ohio Department of Agriculture’s Bromfield Administration Building, Auditorium A & B, 8995 E. Main St. in Reynoldsburg.

The purpose of the meeting is organizational.  Board members will also discuss temporary housing and care standards for dangerous wild animals.

The Dangerous and Restricted Animals Advisory Board was created with the passage of Senate Bill 310 to advise the Director of Agriculture on the development of administrative rules governing the ownership of dangerous wild animals.
