Bernard Ray Flint
Bernard Ray Flint, 87, of Paulding, died Monday, November 19, 2012, at the Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center.
He was born December 29, 1924, in Paulding County, the son of the late Jesse and Essa (Doster) Flint. On August 19, 1950, he married Jane Ann (Deisler) Flint, who preceded him in death on November 30, 1995.
Survivors include four sons, Mike Flint of Mineral Wells, Texas, Gary (Donna) Flint of Dumas, Texas, Randy Flint of Defiance and Troy Flint of Payne; 10 grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; and six great-grandchildren, with one on the way.
A daughter, Sharon Nelson; one granddaughter, Kimberly Annette Nelson; and three brothers, Leo, Donald and Justus Flint, also preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 24, at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Paulding. Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery in Paulding.
Calling hours are from 4-8 p.m. Friday, November 23, at Den Herder Funeral Home in Paulding, and an hour prior to services Saturday at the church.
