NPAC sets Christmas legends lecture

Get into the holiday frame of mind with the “Legends of Christmas,” an extraordinary program where customs of the holiday season are unwrapped. Ceci Wiselogel discusses the many different legends and traditions that make this the most wonderful time of year. This informative presentation can be enjoyed by people of every age.

The Niswonger Performing Arts Center of Northwest Ohio is proud to present this speaker on Thursday, December 20, at 1:30 p.m.
Wiselogel gives about 200 lectures a year throughout a four-state region on everything from Norman Rockwell to the First Ladies of America. The Legends of Christmas, though, is one of her favorites. This will be no ordinary lecture; Wiselogel has an elaborate collection of Christmas items that is sure to keep the audience entertained.
The “Legends of Christmas” program will answer all of those commonly asked questions about this jolly season. The crowd will learn everything from why people kiss under the mistletoe to the meaning behind candy canes. During the presentation, viewers will be able to get involved and sing some of the traditional carols they all love. Wiselogel will also discuss the fascinating stories that tie to this time of year. This show is surely one that the whole family can enjoy!
