Live Nativity in Wren

Fred the camel is just one of the animals that area residents will see if they attend this year’s Animals of the Nativity event held each year in Wren. Fred, a double-humped Bactrian camel, has been a part of  Nativity scenes since he was a yearling. Fred will have several other camels with him, as well as a llama, goat and some desert sheep, for this year’s Nativity scene in Wren. The event will run from 6-9 p.m. Friday, December 7, and from 1-5:30 p.m. Saturday, December 8, at First Church of God in Mendon. (photo submitted)
