We wish to thank and congratulate all of our artist members who submitted their work for this exhibit, which is our largest show with over 260 pieces entered. Stop by and shop for a special gift this season, hand-crafted by some of our regions finest. This exhibit, which runs through Dec. 15, is kindly brought to you by the Van Wert County Hospital. Shopping hours are Tuesdays through Sundays 1-5 p.m.

We are extending our popular morning Classic Watercolor class to the first three Tuesdays in December! If you would like to sign up for this continuation, give us a call. From the amount of giggling and lively conversation it sounds and looks like these people are having a great time!

We hope to see you during the YWCA Holiday Home Tour this weekend, Nov. 30, 5-9 p.m. and Dec. 1, 9-1 p.m. This building, our current location, is the original home of our benefactor, Charles Wassenberg.  This may be one of the last times people can tour the house before we move to the Van Wert Armory sometime in 2013. We will serve light refreshments and feature a video and literature of the proposed updates to the Armory. See how you can become involved in this creative place-making opportunity that will benefit the whole community in the years to come.

The Wassenberg Art Center’s hours during exhibits are: Tuesday through Sunday 1-5 p.m. Contact the art center by phone at 419.238.6837, by email at info@wassenbergartcenter.org or via our website at wassenbergartcenter.org.
