Tree of Lights ceremony

Twig III held its annual Tree of Lights ceremony at Van Wert County Hospital on Tuesday evening. Families hung stars on the Tree of Lights in front of the hospital in honor or in memory of family members and friends, or in support of the hospital, and the tree was then lighted (above). Proceeds of the fundraiser, $2,300, were given to VWCH President/CEO Mark Minick by Lisa Dunn, Twig III president (below). Dunn also read out the names of those honored by this year’s stars, while Jacob Wilder led in the singing of Christmas carols during the ceremony. (photos by Dave Mosier/Van Wert independent)
