Camera Club Christmas party Thursday!

As the Christmas season approaches, Wassenberg Camera Club members will be making preparations for their Annual Christmas carry-in meeting and party on Thursday, Dec. 13. As in the past, the club will supply the main dish and members are asked to bring a covered dish to share and their own non-alcoholic beverage. Table service is optional this year because we have been offered the use of the art center’s table service. Members and guests are asked to arrive by 6 p.m. to get their food set out so that the meal can begin at 6:15 p.m. The year-end business meeting will follow.

Items on the agenda include: the election of officers and a representative to the Wassenberg board, selecting the best print and slide of the year and from those two, the Best-of-Show which will receive a $25 award from the Wassenberg Art Center. Members are also asked to bring along their ideas for monthly competition themes, which will determine next year’s competitions. With this being the final meeting of the club for 2012, we wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas!
