Boychoir announces Christmas concert

The Van Wert Area Boychoir will be holding its annual Christmas concert at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 16, at First Presbyterian Church, 110 W. Crawford St. in Van Wert. The concert is free and open to the public.

The boychoir, founded in 2004, includes members from Van Wert City and Crestview Local, Lincolnview Local and Parkway Local schools.

The artistic leadership team for the group includes Artistic Director Brian J. Anders, accompanist Melissa Clay, arranger and technical director Larry Taylor, rehearsal assistant Lindsey Newlove and vocal coach Jake Wilder.

The goal of the Van Wert Area Boychoir is to provide an opportunity for boys of all backgrounds and abilities to participate in a quality musical, cultural and educational experience. The boychoir rehearses weekly during the school year.
