Ora Lou Beavo

Ora Lou Beavo, 83, of Van Wert, died at 2:35 a.m. Sunday, December 9, 2012, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born September 18, 1929, in Geneva, Ind., the daughter of the late Paul Eber and Ethel M. (Booher) Teeple. She married Junior “Jack” Beavo, who preceded her in death on May 24, 2000.

Survivors include a daughter, Karen S. (Gayle L.) Stevens of Van Wert; four sisters, Sharon Lindsey of Bryant, Ind., Peggy Klefeker of Fort Recovery, Linda Strick and Cheryl Grubenhoff, both of Van Wert; two grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Three brothers, Keith, Landin and Leland Teeple, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 19, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with the Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

Calling hours are from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, December 18, at the funeral home.
