Final Christmas Garden event planned

The Van Wert Parks Department and the Clay family invite area residents to the final event at the Christmas Garden display in the Children’s Garden at Smiley park this coming Sunday, December 23, from 6-8 p.m.

Santa and Mrs. Claus have offered to break away from the elves for a short time so children can make their final requests before Christmas Eve.

The evening will be filled with holiday cheer, including music, Christmas lights, cookies and hot chocolate.

The Candy Cane patch is also still growing candy canes, so kids should make sure they pick theirs while they are there!

This event is free so bring the family for a festive evening.
