Larry J. DuCheney

Larry J. DuCheney, 73, of Van Wert, died at 6:22 p.m. Sunday, December 23, 2012, at Van Wert County Hospital in Van Wert.

He was born October 5, 1939, in Van Wert, the son of Eileen (Feasby) DuCheney, who survives in Van Wert, and the late John M. DuCheney. He married Carole (Kable) DuCheney and she preceded him in death in 2003.

Survivors include three children, David (Roxanne) DuCheney of Discovery Bay, Calif., Douglas (Rhonda) DuCheney of Monroe and Cindy Long of Boise, Idaho; a sister, Donna (Douglas) Welker of Van Wert; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 29, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Van Wert, with the Rev. Scott Campbell officiating.

Calling hours are from 4-7 p.m. Friday, December 28, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert.
