Those who have had the distinct privilege of hearing Dr. Todd Dewett speak seem to never forget the impact of his words.

The Van Wert Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce featured speaker Dr. Dewett for the 91st Annual Dinner and Awards Ceremony on Thursday, February 21, at Willow Bend Country Club. The evening will begin with a social hour sponsored by Citizens National Bank and silent auction at 5:30, followed by dinner and awards at 6:30.

The Chamber invites members of the business community and Van Wert residents to attend an evening of festivities and networking as we recognize area businesses and individuals for their accomplishments and contributions to the Van Wert area. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear one of the most sought after speakers today with an insightful, high-energy, sometimes edgy style.

“The single most dynamic personality in leadership today,” Dr. Dewett, is a management professor, speaker author, coach, radio host, consultant, caffeine addict, and Harley Davidson nut. He is the author of The Little Black Book of Leadership and the creator of the video coaching site Fuel4Leaders.com. Recent clients include: Booz Allen Hamilton, State Farm, JM Smucker, Medtronic, TGI Fridays, Standard Register, Cox Media, NCR, Sogeti, University of Tennessee, RustOleum, and many more. His unique brand of energetic leadership knowledge has landed him in the New York Times, BusinessWeek, Forbes, CNN, Investors Business Daily, MSNBC, and hundreds of other outlets. Locally, he has presented his insights to Cooper Farms, who is the Chamber’s Premier Sponsor for the 2013 Annual Dinner and Awards Ceremony.

The culmination of the evening’s events will include the presentation of the following prestigious awards: Ray Miller, Crystal Image, Golden Shovel Awards and Milestone Recognition Awards.
