House demolition

The City of Van Wert recently received state funding to demolish four derelict houses in the city. Those properties include 222. N. Vine St. (shown above), 1001 E. Sycamore St., 310 W. Third St. and 825 W. Main St. Mayor Don Farmer said the demolitions are being handled by Kraner Building Excavating of Ohio City and said he hoped the city would be able to obtain more funding for demolitions in the future.
