City house fire

A house at 115 E. Second St. was heavily damaged by a fire that occurred Tuesday morning. Firefighters were called out at approximately 11 a.m. Tuesday to battle the fire in the two-story structure. No one was at home at the time of the fire, which brought firefighters out a second time later on Tuesday when the blaze rekindled. No information has been released on the cause of the fire or the extent of damage to the house. (Dave Mosier/Van Wert independent)
