Convoy woman killed in Indiana crash

NEW HAVEN, Ind. – A Convoy woman was one of two people killed in a crash involving a semi tractor-trailer rig and five personal vehicles on U.S. 30.
Sandra Dealey, 43, was identified as one of those who died in the accident, which occurred at approximately 10:45 a.m. Tuesday when a semi plowed into vehicles stopped at a traffic light on U.S. 30, near South Doyle Road east of Interstate 469.
The other person killed was Suzanne K. Stephenson, 65, of Monroeville, Ind.
According to reports, in addition to the two people killed, seven others were injured — two of those seriously — and were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
Reports noted that the westbound lanes of U.S. 30 closed for approximately seven hours while the wreckage was cleared away.
