Dean C. Fralick

Dean C. Fralick, 83, of Convoy, died at 5:47 p.m. Tuesday, January 15, 2013, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Ind.

He was born November 18, 1929, in Wren, the son of the late Robert Lancaster and Lola Grace (Springer) Fralick. On May 25, 1952, he married Patricia F. (Baker) Fralick, who survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Terry (Judie) Fralick and Clair (Marlys) Fralick, both of Convoy; a daughter, Brenda (Brent) Edwards of Van Wert; two brothers, Gordon L. Fralick of Convoy and Doyt R. Fralick of Lynn Haven, Fla.; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Two sisters, Yvonne Binkley and Naomi Gallaway, also preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 19, at First Baptist Church in Van Wert, with Pastor Steve Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert, with graveside military rites performed by the combined honors units of American Legion Post 178 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5803, both of Van Wert.

Calling hours are from 3-7 p.m. Friday, January 18, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home and an hour prior to services Saturday at the church.

Preferred memorials: First Baptist Church in Van Wert and Gideons International.
