It’s exam time!

Students are hard at work this week at Crestview. Studying is their highest priority as they spend Tuesday through Friday taking their first semester exams. Students have a revised schedule to give them an hour and a half to do their best on some of the hardest tests of the year. Senior Sydney Waltmire says, “My hardest exam is Forensic Science.” Preparation is key for all of those who have their schedule full of tough classes. Waltmire also says, “I plan to just look over my old tests.”
National Honors Society is holding their annual blood drive on Jan. 22. Last year the blood drive was a huge success and this year, National Honors Society members have high hopes for achieving the same goal. When asked how she feels about giving blood, Junior and National Honors Society member Brooke Bowen says, “I’m nervous. I’ve never given blood before.”
In the middle school, many good things are happening. Monday, Jan. 7, the school held its spelling bee with Derek Stout winning in the seventh grade, Alyssa Fegley winning in the eighth grade, and Stout winning over all. Ciarra Gonzalez was also added to the District Junior High Honors Jazz Band. Middle school also has exams to study for with their exams schedule Wednesday through Friday of this week.
