YW plans Aqua Zumba ‘pool party’

YWCA information

A new Aqua Zumba session has begun at the YWCA!  Known as the Zumba® “pool party,” the Aqua Zumba program gives new meaning to the idea of an invigorating workout. Splashing, stretching, twisting, even shouting, laughing, hooting and hollering are often heard during an Aqua Zumba class.

Integrating the Zumba formula and philosophy with traditional aqua fitness disciplines, the Aqua Zumba class blends it all together into a safe, challenging, water-based workout that’s cardio-conditioning, body-toning, and most of all, exhilarating beyond belief.

Holly Vaughn will teach Aqua Zumba Wednesday nights at 6-6:45 p.m. Classes run on a rolling basis and newcomers are welcome to any class. All aquatic fitness classes are taught in the YWCA’s warm water therapy pool.

People do not need to be a YWCA member to participate in any YWCA class offerings. General operating hours are Monday-Thursday, 6:30 a.m.-8 p.m.; Friday, 6:30 a.m.-5 p.m.; closed Saturday and Sunday.  The YWCA is a United Way and Van Wert County Foundation funded agency.
