Chinese students arrive

A delegation from China arrived at Liberty Baptist Church in Van Wert on Friday evening and will spend three weeks touring areas of interest in Van Wert, along with side trips to Amish Country in Ohio and to Chicago, Ill. Mayor Don Farmer and his wife, Nancy, were among those who greeted the young Chinese college students Friday evening at the church, while also posing with the group is Aaron Burns (back row, left), son of Liberty Baptist Senior Pastor Jim Burns, who has lived in China the past eight years and helped set up the visit.
