LaDonna M. Eggeman

LaDonna M. Eggeman, 96, of Delphos, died at 11:51 a.m. Monday, January 28, 2013, at Vancrest Health Care Center of Delphos.

She was born December 18, 1916, in Cloverdale, the daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa (Becker) Brinkman. She married Harold J. Eggeman, who preceded her in death in 1979.

Survivors include a son, Gary (Deborah) Eggeman of Elida; six daughters, Carolyn (Eugene) Fischer, Diane (John) Grothouse and Carla (Steve) Bonifas, all of Delphos, Judith (Alvin) Sudhoff of Fort Recovery, Kathy Dukes of Plantation, Fla., and Linda Gerdeman of Lima; a sister, Martha Bibler of Continental; 18 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.

Seven sisters and brothers also preceded her in death.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, February 1, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Delphos, with Father Melvin Verhoff officiating. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery in Delphos.

Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Thursday, January 31, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, where a parish wake will be held at 7:30 that evening.
