VW Cash Mob to meet on Thursday

The Van Wert Cash Mob is inviting the entire community to meet them this Thursday, January 31, to shop at a local independent business.

Everyone interested in participating is encouraged to meet in the downtown parking lot at the corner of Central Avenue and Washington Street at 5:15 Thursday evening.

The selected business the Mob voted for last month is kept a secret until then. Once the store is announced, everyone will walk or drive to that business to shop together. Organizers promise that this Thursday’s store will have something for everyone. Don’t forget also to join “mobbers” at the After Mob event for a drink or bite to eat and vote for the business to “mob” in February.

The Van Wert Cash Mob is a group of local community members that gathers once a month to show combined support of a locally owned business. Group members aren’t just community residents who enjoy meeting the owners of different independent stores and restaurants throughout Van Wert and discovering all that these stores offer in products and services. To join the fun, simply meet on Thursday and pledge to spend just $10 at the local business announced. This monthly event is open to the public and all are invited to participate.
