Crestview students are finally starting to get back into the normal routine, returning to their first full week of the second semester. Sophomores are beginning their Ohio Graduation Test preparation this week. The OGT is taken during the course of a week this March and must be passed to graduate.

Crestview’s high school competition choir, Knight Vision, traveled to Bishop Dwenger Saturday the 26th, their third competition. Knight Vision received Grand Champion in their division. Other happenings in the music department include the solo and ensemble competition being held at St. Mary’s High School on Feb. 2. Crestview has four high school students participating: Shelby Ripley, Kevin Cook, Quintin Bouillion, and Isaiah Longwell.

Student Council and the senior English classes put together “Walk for Dealeys” in remembrance of Sandy Dealey, mother of Jeremiah and Josiah Dealey. This event was held Jan. 29 through Feb. 1 during the students’ lunch period.

In the middle school, the boys’ basketball team hosts their annual tournament sponsored this year by McDonalds. This tournament began Jan. 21, and continues for the following three Saturdays. Everyone is encouraged to come and support the middle school as they fight through their final games of the year.
