Ashley Anne Messmann

Ashley Anne Messmann, 28, of Paulding, died Tuesday, February 5, 2013, from injuries sustained in an auto accident.

She was born December 8, 1984, in Defiance, the daughter of Robert “Bob” and Pamela S. (Gross) Gardner. On July 7, 2007, she married Harrison “Harry” Messmann, who survives.

She was employed by West Bend Publishing as an ad designer.

In addition to her husband and parents, survivors include a son, Asher Messmann of Paulding; one sister, Sarah Elizabeth Gardner of Antwerp; a brother, Kyle Robert Gardner of Paulding; grandparents Lawerance and Beverly Gross of Cecil, and Dwain and Nola Gardner of Hicksville; her father- and mother-in-law, Todd and Trisha (Holtsberry) Messmann of Paulding; and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 9, at Paulding Church of the Nazarene. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery in Paulding.

Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Friday, February 8, at Den Herder Funeral Home in Paulding, and an hour prior to services Saturday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, preferred memorials include donations made to her son, Asher.
