MP officials set town hall meeting

MIDDLE POINT — The second planning meeting for the Village of Middle Point will be held for all village residents on Monday, February 18, at 7:30 p.m. at the Village Community Center, 300 W. Sycamore St.

This meeting will explain the Community Development Block Grant Neighborhood Revitalization Program and obtain public input on possible projects to be included on a village wide improvements survey as required to apply for the grant money.

This is the second of five meetings that will be held as a requirement of the grant, so village officials encourage residents to attend. The more residents that sign in, the more it will help with grant scoring, showing the grant review board that the village residents are willing to participate in the planning for the future.

Village residents’ presence and input will help the village in the application process, with the possibility of being able to do more projects within the village.
