Billy Joe Carroll

Billy Joe Carroll, 65, of Van Wert, died at 6:25 a.m. Thursday, February 7, 2013, at his residence.

He was born January 27, 1948, in Van Wert, the son of the late Elmo and Ellen (Shepherd) Carroll.

Survivors include his significant other, Debra L. Klinger of Van Wert; five children, Cindy (Gary) Bland of Crestline, Bruce Carroll of Dayton, Billie Jo (Bill) Ralston of Cardington, Sara E. (fiance Bob Barker) Carroll of Van Wert and Thomas Carroll of Ohio; a brother, Eddie Carroll of Van Wert; five sisters, Sue (Larry) Dowler, Faye (Jack) Trinosky and Peggy Burnett, all of Van Wert, Colleen (Michael) Rowland of Middle Point, and Nancy (Louie) King of Lima; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Four brothers, Herschel Eugene Carroll, Kerry Lee Carroll, Barry Lynn Carroll and Jim R. Carroll, also preceded him in death.

No funeral services or calling hours will be held.

Preferred memorial: American Cancer Society.
