Viola M. Ramon

Viola M. Ramon, 88, of Paulding, died Thursday, February 7, 2013, at Putnam Acres Nursing Home in Ottawa.

She was born December 15, 1924, in Cameron, Texas, the daughter of Louis and Laura (Branstetter) Denker. On October 9, 1942, she married Joseph A. Ramon, who preceded her in death on November 2, 1985.

Survivors include a son, Joe L. (Denise) Ramon of The Villages, Fla.; three daughters, Grace Meyer of Ottawa, Brenda Boundy of Hernando Beach, Fla., and Lora (Larry) Zizelman of Spring Hill, Fla.; a sister, Mildred Orsag of Texas; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

A son-in-law, David Meyer, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, February 15, at Den Herder Funeral Home in Paulding. Burial will follow in Cooper Cemetery in rural Paulding County.

Calling hours are from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, February 14, and an hour prior to services Friday at the funeral home.
