4 arrested for pseudoephedrine buys

CELINA — Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey announced the arrest of five persons on charges resulting from an investigation by the Grand Lake Task Force, a combined effort of law enforcement agencies in Mercer and Auglaize counties.

The Task Force was assisted by deputies from the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office and Celina police officers in Wednesday’s arrests.

Those arrested were:

  • Christopher L. Brockman, 33, now incarcerated in the Mercer County Adult Detention Facility, on six counts of unlawful purchase of pseudoephedrine products.
  • Christopher J. Steinbrunner, 41, of Fort Recovery, two counts of unlawful purchase of pseudoephedrine products.
  • Elizabeth M. Craw, 25, of Celina, one count of unlawful purchase of pseudoephedrine products.
  • Joshua M. Wymer, 29, of New Weston, three counts of unlawful purchase of pseudoephedrine products.
  • Jason J. Bruggeman, 31, of New Weston, two counts of unlawful purchase of pseudoephedrine products.

All charges are first-degree misdemeanors. It is unlawful to knowingly purchase, receive, or otherwise acquire more than 9 grams of any pseudoephedrine product within a 30 consecutive day period.
