Larry D. Nihiser

Larry D. Nihiser, 74, of Van Wert, died at 8:20 a.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2013, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

He was born September 16, 1938, in Van Wert, the son of the late Lawrence A. “Tom” and Erma M. (Fackler) Nihiser. On June 27, 1964, he married Faye Ann (Roth) Nihiser, who survives in Van Wert.

Other survivors include a brother, Jerry W. (Carol Lynne) Nihiser of Van Wert; and one sister, Sandra Kay (Jerry) Zeigler of Bluffton, Ind.

Private graveside funeral services will be conducted at Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert, with graveside military rites performed by the combined honors unit of American Legion Post 178 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5803, both of Van Wert.

There will be no calling hours.

Preferred memorials: Convoy EMS Squad.
