Alyse Yvonne Townley

Alyse Yvonne Townley, 65, of Paulding, died Tuesday, February 12, 2013, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Ind.

She was born September 21, 1947, in Defiance, the daughter of the late Carl Ross and Vera Avis (Converse) DeGood. On March 18, 1967, she married Thomas J. Townley, who survives.

Other survivors include a daughter, Lisa M. Adams of Defiance; one son, Brent (Leslie) Townley of Paulding; three brothers, Rick (Ja Dee) DeGood of Paulding, Gary DeGood of  Le Roy, Mich., and Perry (Gail) DeGood of Perrinton, Mich.; a sister, Dee Becker of Okemos, Mich.; her mother-in-law, Lorraine K. Townley of Linden, Mich.; a sister-in-law, Deborah L. Townley of Linden, Mich.; three brothers-in-law, Robert (Jeanne) Townley of Grand Blanc, Mich.; Mike (Eva) Townley of Flint, Mich., and Fred (Ellen) Townley of Paulding; four grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, February 18, at Den Herder Funeral Home in Paulding, with Pastor Ben Lowell officiating. Burial will follow at a later date.

Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Sunday, February 17, and an hour prior to services Monday at the funeral home.

Preferred memorials: The Toledo Zoo or The National Arbor Day Foundation.
