Margie A. Hill

Margie A. Hill, 79, of Paulding, died Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at the Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born January 4, 1934, in Defiance, the daughter of the late Wendell and Eva (Rhoades) Funkhouser. On June 8, 1952, she married Paul H. Hill, who survives in Paulding.

Other survivors include four daughters, Brenda (Jerry) Smith and Kim (Ron) Garrity, both of Paulding, Terri (John) Coulon of Archbold and Laurie Hill of Hamilton, Ind.; a brother, Phillip (Sue) Funkhouser of West Unity; one sister, Linda Donaldson of Haviland; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

A daughter, Wava J. Colley; and an infant brother, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, February 25, at Den Herder Funeral Home in Paulding, with the Rev. Ben Lowell officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery in Paulding.

Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Sunday, February 24, and an hour prior to services on Monday at the funeral home.

Preferred memorials: Community Health Professionals/Hospice or Fresenius Dialysis Center.
