Howard B. Putman

Howard B. Putman, 79, of Spencerville, died Wednesday evening, February 20, 2013, at his residence.

He was born February 21, 1933, in Willshire, the son of the late George H. and Emma Fredaricka (Pflueger) Putman. On August 16, 1958, he married Norma J. (Ralston) Putman, who survives.

Other survivors include two daughters, Leisha (Troy) Comer of Wapakoneta and Leslie (John) Ringwald of Van Wert; three granddaughters; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Theodore Carl (Mary Jane) Putman of New Haven, Ind.; one sister, Joan (Leonard) Berry of Sun City, Ariz.; and a sister-in-law, Eudora Putman of Fairborn.

Graveside funeral services for family and friends will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 23, at Mercer Memory Gardens in Celina, with military rites performed by the Celina Veterans of Foreign Wars post.

There will be no calling hours.

Preferred memorials: Donor’s choice.
