‘Early bird’ ball league registration set

The Van Wert Parks and Recreation Department is holding an “early bird” registration for summer ball programs from 10 a.m.-noon Saturday, March 9, at the Jubilee Park Office. Programs are available for youngsters ages 3 to 8.  Detailed program information is available at the park department’s new website www.vanwertparksrecreation.weebly.com. Registration forms are available online or at the Park Office.  For further information contact the Park office at 419.238.9121.

Van Wert fast-pitch softball will also be conducting an early registration for the summer softball from 10 a.m.-noon on Saturday, March 9, at the Jubilee Park Office. Girls will also be fitted for team jerseys at the time of registration.

Three age divisions are available: Farmette (ages 10 and under), Buckeye (ages 12 and under), and Tri County (ages 15 and under). Registration Forms are available at the Jubilee Park Office and online at the above website.
