VW wrestlers at district

Van Wert wrestler Terrin Contreras (above right) ended with a 2-2 record, both pins, in the Division II district tournament on Saturday, good enough for fifth place and a possible berth as an alternate at the state wrestling tournament. Contreras wrestled in the 285-pound weight class. The only other Cougar wrestler competing at districts was Colten Royer, who finished 1-2, with one pin, in the 160-pound weight class.
