VWHS provides tourney ticket price info

The Van Wert High School Athletic Office has announced ticket information for both the Cougar boys’ sectional tournament game and the Van Wert girls’ district tournament contest.

Presale ticket prices for the Cougars’ sectional tournament game against Elida at Lima Senior on Wednesday, February 27, are $4 for students and $6 for adults. All tickets will be $6 at the game.

Tickets can be purchased Monday and Tuesday at Derry Drugs and on Wednesday in Athletic Director Kent Smelser’s office.

Doors will open at 5:15 p.m. for the game on Wednesday, with the game to begin at 6:15 that evening.

Tickets will also be on sale for the Lady Cougars’ district semifinal game this Thursday, February 28, against Lima Bath at Paulding High School. Presale ticket prices will be $4 for students and $6 for adults, while tickets at the game will all cost $6.

VWCS receives 20 percent of all presale ticket revenues for district tournaments. Presale tickets will be sold at Derry Drugs on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and in the AD’s office on Thursday.

Doors open at 5:15 p.m. and the game will begin at 6:15 that evening.
